Bertalan Gyenes
I work within LCP Delta's power group specialising in merging analytical and modelling skills with economics, finance and policy insights of the energy markets, with the aim of enabling the energy transition. I work with energy market participants to better understand their data and analytics needs to inform their investment decisions, as well as to help understand the system and consumer impact of major policy and regulatory decisions.
Previously, I was one of the lead analysts working on electricity security of supply policy in government while also providing support in a range of other energy policy areas, such as flexibility, gas security of supply and REMA. Prior to this, I worked in a series of policy and analytical roles across the government and the third sector, focusing on education, health and medical research, as well as obtaining a PhD in genomics. I also hold an Economics diploma from Birkbeck College where I focussed on developing novel electricity security of supply valuation methods.
