Charmaine Coutinho
I head up our engagement with the UK energy market, particularly on the consumer & demand side. The energy market is changing globally, with the GB & UK markets experiencing particular challenges. I focus on better understanding what the key concerns of our clients and the market are, and making sure LCP Delta best supports this.
I have worked for over 16 years of experience in energy, focusing on the new business and service & proposition development in the transition. My background is consulting, strategy, innovation and business development teams, nudging businesses and consumers to net zero.
Having started my energy careers in an upstart solar company and broadening to the whole energy system via an energy retailer, I am passionate about whole systems thinking and passing on knowledge for a faster transition. Skills, workforce diversity and a just transition are my personal key interests in energy, and I sit on panels at the Institute for Engineering & Technology (IET), in industry and as a pro-bono expert for start ups.
I hold an Honours degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge and advise on the IET Sustainability & Net Zero Panel, as well as diversity initiatives in the UK energy sector.
