Chris Mitcheson

I lead the Pensions & Investment Technology department. My team is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting the technology that supports our core Pensions and Investment business. The models we are responsible for include Visualise, Online Transfer Values (OTV), our GMP equalisation arrears tool, our mortality analysis tool, Life Analytics, and our Pensions Administration system, Pulse.

I joined LCP in Pensions Actuarial in 2003 and qualified as an actuary in 2006 having worked primarily in trustee consulting. After qualifying, I spent an increasing amount of my time helping to develop the models we were using in Pensions Actuarial, before moving over full time to play a leading role in building our flagship model, Visualise. The team, along with the range and scale of the models we build, has grown a lot since those early days!

My background as an actuary and my development experience means I'm in the rare position of having experience in both worlds. That has helped me build an effective team, capable of delivering informative, powerful and innovative solutions to the business and our clients.
