I am a Scheme Actuary providing advice to trustees and also support a number of employers on their pension arrangements.

My clients are a very diverse mix, ranging from a local brewery to a global technology company with schemes of all shapes and sizes.

I communicate in a clear and straightforward way, leading to greater understanding of difficult concepts and enabling fast, effective decision-making. I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients and truly being part of their team.

I support my clients on a wide range of issues – some key recent projects include:

• helping my clients to reconsider their strategic direction in light of strong funding improvements, balancing member security, company contribution demands and the opportunity for all stakeholders to benefit from future success;
• supporting trustees/employers in robust funding negotiations, and working in an open and constructive way to find mutually agreeable solutions; and
• advising trustees on benefit rectification and equalisation projects, developing pragmatic and efficient solutions to complex issues.

In my spare time I am a keen cyclist and golfer and also enjoy getting along to various sporting events.
