Katie Walker

I joined LCP’s specialist trustee secretarial and governance consulting team in 2021, after previous roles as an actuarial consultant and as part of an in-house pensions team. 

My role involves helping trustee boards to run their pension schemes efficiently and ensure that they have the information they need to make effective decisions. I work with schemes in a wide range of industries from finance, to retail, to charity, and tailor my approach to each accordingly. I pride myself on my attention to detail and really enjoy getting stuck in to complex subjects. I am one of LCP's General Code experts, and have helped schemes of all sizes tackle the Code proportionately. The other 'hats' I wear at LCP include running procurement and selection exercises and helping Trustees and Sponsors get comfortable with the admin and member-experience side of a de-risking transaction.

I am an associate of the Pensions Management Institute and co-Chair of LCP's LGBTQ+ Committee. 

I am a firm believer that governance doesn’t need to be onerous or boring, and share this message with the Trustee boards I work with to ensure the success of their schemes.
