I am a partner in LCP’s pensions practice, with a particular focus on pension risk transfer.

I am a member of LCP’s Pension Risk Transfer team and have been helping clients to complete insurance buy-ins and buy-outs since 2007. I have advised on over 50 successful transactions and recent clients include BAA (£370m pensioner buy-in), 3i (£950m of insured liabilities across three transactions) and RockRose Energy (£650m full buy-in).

I lead LCP’s internal pricing team, which analyses financial information, quotation data and market trends to set LCP’s estimates of buy-in and buy-out pricing, and manage the LCP Visualise insurer price tracking module which uses insurer pricing feeds to provide up to date insurer pricing. This gives me a deep insight into current market pricing levels and helps me inform my clients on the best time to implement a transaction.

I am also a Scheme Actuary, helping a number of clients to analyse and mitigate their pension risks. Many of my clients are looking to reduce the risks in their pension scheme over time and my de-risking background provides the support they need to achieve this.
