Let's talk

Nathalie Sims

Partner & Head of Strategic Pensions Relationships

I head up the firm’s strategic pensions relationships, focussing on LCP’s future clients and key relationships.

I work across all of LCP’s service areas helping future LCP clients in finding the right solutions. In order to provide the best advice, I build a strong relationship with LCP’s clients by understanding their needs and objectives.

My key areas of focus are LCP’s investment, pension risk transfer and actuarial practices across DB and DC schemes, where I also undertake client care roles for key clients such as the Tesco and the National Grid pension scheme.

I have also set up and now head the ‘LCP Professional Trustee Programme’. I work closely with key professional trustees across a large number of firms placing me at the forefront of key discussions and industry developments. I was invited to TPR’s board strategy away day in Nov 2023 as an external industry voice.

I am the author of Sole Mates, an annual industry survey on Professional Trusteeship.

I am passionate about diversity, equity & inclusion and am contributing to a number of industry initiatives, such as chair of The Pensions Regulator's Diversity and Inclusion group as well as the Female Forum.

I am a governor at my children’s school and have implemented a number of new initiatives within the school to empower children with better communication skills.

I have a multi-cultural background, speak 3 languages and enjoy spending time with my family (two young children, husband and dog) in my spare time.

Nathalie has an incredibly important quality of listening to, considering and genuinely understanding clients’ needs - and following up with exceptional delivery. This ultimately makes the difference between a good and a truly ‘great’ client relationship.
