Tim Marklew

With over 20 years’ experience of advising companies on their pension schemes, I’m a partner and actuary in LCP’s Corporate Consulting team. I specialise in advising larger companies and multinationals, and my clients are based in a variety of locations across Europe, North America, the Far East and the UK.

My main focus is advising UK and multinational companies with the pension figures reported in their accounts, and also give wider advice on pension strategy in the UK and abroad. I work closely with LCP’s international network of actuarial firms to help clients with their pension schemes in countries around the world. As part of LCP’s Mergers & Acquisitions team, I have also advised on a number of M&A transactions, ranging from small UK transactions, to complex multinational deals involving tens of billions of dollars of pensions liabilities spread around the world.
