LCP announces 9 new Partner promotions

LCP has announced 9 new promotions to Partner.  

Stephen Davies, Managing Partner at LCP, commented: “Our 9 new partners are all experts in their fields, with a wealth of experience testament to the breadth of talent we are proud to have across the firm. They have all demonstrated leadership, commitment and experience in the areas they work in and have helped navigate many clients through complex decisions.  

“Our continued success as a firm is down to people like our new partners. They will be instrumental in our future as we continue to diversify into newer areas, helping to solve the challenges of today to create a more positive future for our clients and wider society.”

The 9 new Partners are:

Catrin Treharne, Health Analytics: Catrin joined LCP in 2023 and has over a decade experience in life sciences consulting. Catrin leads the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) service area within LCP’s Health Analytics team supporting clients in generating evidence to support healthcare decision-making regarding the value and affordability of funding interventions and policies.

David Govier, Investment: David joined LCP in 2017, having previously spent two years working as an engineer for an oilfield services company. He works with a range of institutions, including defined benefit pension schemes, central banks and sovereign wealth funds. His wider responsibilities include being a member of LCP’s broader investment team and acting as a researcher covering LDI solutions.

Dev Gandhi, Pensions: Dev joined LCP in 2023. Dev's core role involves partnering with companies to manage their pensions risks and costs, and he also spends time supporting the covenant team and staying on top of developments in the pensions industry. Dev has interests across lots of areas including M&A, contingent funding and company accounting for pensions and international pension plans.

Drew Henley-Lock, DC Pensions: Drew first joined LCP in 2019 and works across the DC and Responsible Investment teams and co-leads LCP’s manager stewardship work. He works with some of LCP's largest asset owner clients to help them to invest sustainably and undertake effective stewardship, as well as helping to drive improvements in asset managers' stewardship practices.

Joe Mohan, Investment: Joe joined LCP in 2012. In addition to advising clients, he is a senior researcher within the investment research team, focusing on multi-asset products (also known as DGFs). Joe has historically also had an active people role supporting the development of the team.

Mathew Witherwick, Pensions Management Consulting: Mat joined LCP in 2015 as part of the Pensions Management Consulting department. Mat’s background is rooted in pensions governance with a particular focus on project management. He has led the development of LCP’s professional trustee selection service, helps manage relationships with key firms across the industry and worked on some of the industry’s largest first-time outsourcing projects.

Phil Daley, Pensions: Phil joined LCP in 2012 and sits in the Pensions Actuarial Department, providing all aspects of actuarial advice and DB pensions consulting to trustees. Alongside this he is one of the People Leaders in the London Pensions Actuarial department. 

Sean Garratt, Pensions: Sean joined LCP in 2010 and is in the Pensions Actuarial Department. He provides advice to a range of Trustee DB pension clients. Sean also plays a key role on LCP’s Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) team, helping clients to explore this exciting new initiative in UK pensions.

Suzanne Taylor, Pensions Administration: Suzanne joined LCP in 2014. She sits in the Pensions Administration department and is responsible for the department's High Quality Monitoring and other areas of risk management. She sits on the firmwide data protection working group.
