James Knighton

I joined LCP in 2016 after graduating in Maths from the University of Bristol. Since then I have seen the energy team grow from what was a small team focused on electricity generation in Great Britain to a department of well over 100 people working across the whole breadth of the energy transition, reaching as far as the US and Japan.

I've worked on a range of models and data visualisation tools during my time here, including helping to develop Transferlab, LCP's market-leading football analytics platform. One of the things I enjoy most is the opportunity to work with a wide range of knowledgeable people, helping to expand my skills and foster new ideas.

Currently I'm currently leading the development of Flextrack, LCP Delta's data integration platform for flexibility markets, making it easier for energy asset owners and traders to track and visualise data on short-term markets across Europe.
